Venice Holiday Sign Lighting 6 – 8:00 pm:
This event is at Windward Av. just east of Pacific- a 10 minute walk from Abbot Kinney, so you can check out both 1st Fridays and the 2nd Annual Venice Holiday Sign Lighting. Music by the VSO, event Emcee Mike Newhouse & special celeb guest to help pull the switch for the holiday lights! Last year Robert Downey Jr. was the special celeb guest. Starts at 6pm, sign lighting at 7:45 pm. Also, the Muscle Beach Toy Drive will accept donations at this event, plus see below.

Bring an unwrapped toy for a child in need this holiday season! On Friday night, drop off your toy at the Sign Lighting & recive a wrist band for discounts that night. On both days drop off toys from 10am – 4:00 pm to the Venice Rec Center at 1800 Ocan Front Walk, aka the Boardwalk.
Montana Ave. Holiday Walk, 5 – 9:00 pm:
This annual event in Santa Monica brings live music, free drinks and snacks from the boutiques (last year we got some great samples!) plus some awesome sales and holiday spirit! This event attracts a large crowd.

Main Street Tree Lighting Santa Monica & Holiday Party, 5 – 9:00 pm:
This annual event is both fun & festive with 2 tree lightings! First at 5pm sharp, at the Victorian outdoors is a Christmas tree lighting while we are serenaded by local school kids with holiday songs. Then, join the candlelit procession heading up to the Edgemar Center (around 5:45) for the Shopping Cart Tree Lighting at 6:00 pm with music by local faves, the Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers and their merry mischief! Stores open until 9:00 pm with sales & specials!
