Tuesday
Tonight at Canal Club: Venice Developer & Film Maker Adam Preskill presents his new VENICE APP!  An Evening of Apps features  a new app created just for Venice! Get a sneak peak of this cool new app! In addition, complimentary appetizers will be served during the event from 5-7pm

After Canal Club, head over to Venice Arts: There’s an art opening for Pro’jekt LA: “Take Me There: Photography Commenting on the Future of Technology, from 7-10pm. This is part of MOPLA (Month of Photography in LA.) 1702 Lincoln Blvd. at Superba

Wednesday
Japanese American Commemoration celebrating the site of the future memorial marker at the corner of Lincoln & Venice Blvds. (northwest corner.) This event features speakers, such as Arnold Maeda (who was sent to Manzanar Concentration Camp) and an exhibit of the design of the future marker to come that commemorates the forced detention of Japanese Americans in Venice during World War 2. Event starts at 10 am.

Friday
An art opening in Venice on Abbot Kinney at new popup gallery, M. Herrington (in the Altered Spaces Gallery space – they are now in the back space, fyi.) Live drawing event where  artists can draw live models and the crowd may watch and enjoy live music too with Splendido Allstars from Venice from 7-10 pm at 1221 Abbot Kinney.

Saturday
Earth Month at Whole Foods!
At 1pm, check out the renowned “Certified Health Nut’s” talk for Earth Month, featuring Troy Casey.

Sunday
The sizzling Suzy Williams and  The Backboners will play at the Santa Monica Farmers Market, which is absolutely free and fun, from 10am-1pm on Main St. at Ocean Park.
