Santa Monica Event – “No Kitchen Required” Food Truck Event, FREE dinner courtesy of BBC America’s new cooking adventure series! First come, first served. Like their Facebook page to RSVP. 5:30-9:30. BBC America hosts the weekly Santa Monica food truck event with free food, drinks, desserts and t-shirts. 2612 Main Street at Ocean Park
Santa Monica Event – Networking event at Bodega Wine Bar, casual social networking to spark collaboration amongst LA changemakers in this monthly Happy Hour series, led this month by StartingBloc Los Angeles. Extended Happy Hour thru 8:30pm. 6-9:30 pm. 814 Broadway 90401
Wednesday – Relax and rest from Tuesday’s events and start preparing for the next round of events!Thursday – Wine & Food Event: Whole Planet Foundation Benefit. This event takes place at 7 Artist Mangement Studio, 361 Vernon Place. #3, Venice 90291, Sponsored by Whole Foods Venice. $25 donation. Whole Planet Foundation raises money for microloans for the underprivilged.
Friday – Venetian Gerry Fialka puts on Subversice Cinema in Santa Monica (just a block from Venice) with interesting, eclectic and of course, subversive cinema at this cool and funky coffeehouse. Get there an hour early and vote on the films to be screened. 7:30 – 10:30 pm, 212 Pier
Saturday – Pure Honey Release Party on Abbot Kinney! Live performance with a string quartet, complimentary candy station, free champagne for the first 100 guests, dancers, a photo booth, and more! $1 from each EP sold that night will go to a local Venice organization called HoneyLove.
