This Classic Venice Tradition is coming back Venice style on Saturday with a parade by the beach starting at 3pm. Look for King Neptune to jump out of the water (or close to it) and come in costumes- after all it’s Venice and dressing normal is just gauche so get your beads on and head to the beach! The parade is at The Venice Breakwater – see where the rocks are – walk past the grafitti walls, just hold your breath and follow the smell of fresh paint and walk on to the sand.
Afterparty at Danny’s starting at 5pm with drink specials and live music. At 9pm, the Neptune Ball is at Canal Club with a costume contest, dj, drink specials and lotsa fun! Continuing on Sunday, 2-6pm, there’s a Summer Tea Dance at Canal Club. I’m not sure what that is, however, being Venice I know it’s not the Tea Party!
