Get your Saturday night started early with an Art Opening at G2 Gallery in Venice, known for its quality nature/conservation photography. There’s a mashup of 6 photographers, while you enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine, complimentary valet and a raffle ticket. $10 admission at door and all exhibit proceeds benefit Venice Arts. 1503 Abbot Kinney Blvd

Subversive Cinema Seven Dudley-film reel- Gerry FialkaTime for some eclectic film called Subversive Cinema hosted by Seven Dudley Cinema at Beyond Baroque in Venice. Curator, Film Historian and Venice Legend Gerry Fialka screens films as antennae of the race, broadcasting the hidden effects of what we have invented. From experimental films to political activist cinema to lit, art, music flix to avant garde documentaries, this series provokes new questions and features fiery discussions.
