Foodies get ready – the 5th annual Taste of Venice is Sunday, November 3, 3 – 6:30pm at Electric Lodge in Venice and on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. This unique food and wine event that celebrates the amazing culinary talent that has made Venice a top destination for foodies. Over 400 guests will be supporting local Venice nonprofit Inside Out Community Arts, while enjoying tastes from many of the wonderful restaurants this unique neighborhood has to offer including Govind Armstrong’s Willie Jane and Joe Miller’s Joe’s Restaurant.

The afternoon VIP reception will feature music, a silent auction, special presentations and cooking demonstrations, and appearances by the events’ host committee including celebrity chefs Jet Tila from Iron Chef America and Adam Gertler from the Food Network as well as Food & Wine’s Los Angeles Correspondent Jennifer Sommer. After the reception our guests enjoy a unique restaurant walking/tasting tour on famed Abbot Kinney Boulevard where they can sample signature dishes from their favorite chefs as well as wine, beer and cocktail tastings.

This year the event will be held at The Electric Lodge, a solar-powered and ecologically minded performing arts center in Venice. So grab your bike and get ready to tour good food and drink! No worries for those who are not local, guests can borrow bikes for the tasting tour!
