The heart of Silicon Beach is located in Venice and Santa Monica and extends to Marina del Rey, Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles, with a focus on the community of entrepreneurs, startup companies (whether it’s creative, tech, etc.), accelerators and venture capital companies.
The AKFF Blog has covered the major Silicon Beach Conferences since 2012 in the infancy of Silicon Beach, including: Silicon Beach Fest, Social Media Week, Digital Hollywood and others in addition to smaller scale local events like: Pay It Forward and Women in Tech Network and co-working spaces like NextSpace Venice.

Vivienne Harr, the young Founder of Make a Stand with Biz Stone, Founder of Twitter talked about their new venture, and Rose Broome, Founder of HandUp, creates social impact technology that serves the homeless population among others at this two day inaugural tech event.
