Venice Art Crawl

Janet’s Picks for Art Crawl:
This time I can relax and enjoy the whole thing (I was in the First Art Crawl at the Fruit Crawl! There’s alot of great art to see in a little time! I’ll start out at VOCA Gallery, since they will start early with food and drinks, plus art from Paris, Mark X Farina, on the Boardwalk at Rose.
Next, I’ll be checking out Figtree’s Cafe, just 2 blocks south of VOCA, with various artists and live music. Going further south, I’ll ride my bike oover to Helen Garber’s Studio near brooks (801 Ocean Front Walk)where swill display her noir photography and Jennifer Cunningham will have her watercolor art. Just ask for a map.

This is the second monthly art crawl in Venice– a great event and great way to see local art in local shops, galleries, hotels and private residences not normally open to the public.

The Venice Art Crawl is a free monthly exploration of the Venice Beach area and the world famous Venice artist community and spirit. During the long history of the Venice Boardwalk area it has served as a home for artists, a haven of creativity, and the place to find many famous galleries. The Art Crawl is an event to help local artists show their art.

On the Boardwalk from North Venice Blvd. to Rose Ave. and streets directly off of the Boardwalk. Fun and FREE! 6-10pm
