You’ll need something to do Saturday night if you’re still standing after the Mardi Gras Afterparty! A few options for you here:
Start the evening out with an Opening Reception at Venice Arts from 5-8pm. Presenting: Six Shooters: A Photographic Conversation prompts an innovative approach to narrative, exposes the process of collaborative art-making, and engages viewers in creating for themselves a story from the visual associations on display. 1702 Lincoln Blvd. Venice, CA 90291
Return of It Came from Venice! is a unique tribute to Sponto, a Venice Legend who was a true supporter of the arts community here. This all out event combines visual art, music and spoken word over a period of three weekends in March. Experience the true spirit of Venice with local artists and musicians! There are 3 weekends of festivities at the original location of the famed Venice Sponto Gallery, originally known as Venice West Cafe, a beat poet hangout.
