The boulevard will start festivities generally between 6 and 7 pm – with the exception of an art reception starting at 5pm- see our EXCLUSIVE report below on this new venue. Parking is easier to find when you get there earlier. This blog will email our Secret Free Parking near Abbot Kinney when you Subscribe to this Blog – see the right column to Subscribe by Email.
Westside Properties 2814 Abbot Kinney Blvd.nr Washington
Westside Properties celebrates their new location at 1st Fridays with an art reception from 5-8pm.
They just moved in to the cute beach house, closer to Washington Blvd. so this is a great starting point for the evenings festivities. Say hello to Dominic, Jennifer and Josh, plus enjoy drinks and snacks. Artists Jennifer Pacquette will show her Mid Century Modern inspired images of Palm Springs and Seamus Conley will wow you with his surreal yet lifelike paintings, plus sculpture from Mermade.

Marina from Marina’s Natural Beauty Report
The AK Blog Crew will make an appearance there – and select locations on AKB.
Say hello to Marina from Marina’s Natural Beauty Report, our newest team member, who will be asking you for your point of view on 1st Fridays. Our videos will be seen on this blog in the future & our YouTube channel (shhh, it’s a secret…) launching soon! Watch for the AK Blog Crew – we’ll see you live on AKB!
Robin’s Sculpture Garden
Walking just past Venice Blvd., see the newest and hottest salon, The Harlot, (see the previous post for more info on this salon)… you might want to stop at nearby Lemonade first for a unique flavor of lemonade or healthy eats… across the street you will find an outdoor sculpture garden called Robin’s Sculpture Garden for large scale sculpture and a great scene there too. Last time there were cool aerial performers in the outdoor space.
Come back, we will be adding more to our 1st Fridays listings!
