Here’s What You Missed At First Fridays + Local Events To Keep You Busy Til’ Next First Fridays
First Fridays RunDown (September 2)
Did you miss September’s First Fridays event? If you did we forgive, so here’s a rundown on what you missed and what new surprises AKFF had in store this month: The food trucks were busy as expected, Global Party People livened Abbot Kinney with their DJ mixes, and as always locals mingled all night long. The surprise of the night for First Fridays attendees was a an Asian fusion inspired food truck Pico House, which made its very first appearance on Abbot Kinney Blvd. Their meatball bowl (pictured above) is one that will not disappoint your tastebuds. The meatball bowl included chickpea and coconut shreds mixed with grain toppings, peanuts and cucumber giving you a light but tasty dish. Chefs are friendly, so make sure to stop on by and tell them AKKF sent you. Until then, see you next First Fridays!
