The first Abbot Kinney First Fridays of the year was a hit! Despite the chilly weather folks stopped by and chowed down on some of LA’s very best food trucks! Were you there?
The AKFF team arrived when things were beginning to kick off. We made our way down to The Brig and found crowds of people standing in line. All food trucks parked here had quite the busy night! It was defiantly a crowded night to say the least!
Our next stop was Pizza & Co! What you don’t see is the people off to side eating their delicious pizza and savoring every taste. In fact, this is all you see when you come down to #AKFF. People sitting along side the curb and enjoying their amazing food!
Don’t think for a second we forgot about dessert! Folks eating at Ridges Churro Bar were smiling before biting into their churro desserts! The rest of the evening was filled with smiles and fun down the boulevard!

The Kinney will be debuting their mural which pays homage to Venice skateboarding legend, Tony Alva this Saturday. LA street artist, Robert Vargas has been painting the 250 foot mural of the legendary skateboarder for the past six weeks and his work will finally be made public at the event. This is an event you don’t want to miss! Debuting celebration is from 3-7pm, with complimentary food from the Pink Taco food truck, coffee bar, and live entertainment. See you there!
