March 3, 2016 First Fridays was lotsa fun with lotsa food trucks! Surprise! The AKFF team checked out the food trucks on Palms and in The Brig parking lot next door at the start of the evening. It got crowded quickly. Falasophy a newer truck specializing in falafel was giving away free samples – yeah! The Banh Mi Falafel had just the right amount of spice and was tasty, along with the garlic fries. Shops were also open and many had sales; there was an event at Cuyana boutique with Renew drinks that were great with the prosecco. Plus Blogger/Writer Erin Boyle was signing copies of her new book, ” Simple Matters.”
