There is much fun to pursue at 1st Fridays and the AKFF Blog Crew is bringin’ it to you! We’ll be out on the boulevard taking photos and video of the action and look forward to seeing you there! See our video from a recent 1st Friday on Abbot Kinney:

Brasa is always a great place to hang out with their outdoor fire places and casual, frinedly vibe. A few doors down is Robin’s Sculpture Garden, a wonderful outdoor garden with larger than life sculpture by Venice local Artist, Robin Murez. There’s a new Palm Reader at the front of her space that has a $10 First Fridays Palm reading Special!

After you find out your future, make sure to stop by these 2 fashionable boutiques open late just for this monthly event: Illia has stylish women’s fashions open until 7pm, while Alexis Bittar carries handmade (in the USA) exquisite jewelry, open late until 9pm. As you cross Rialto, heading west, check out new store Civilianaire with American made men’s and women apparel- yes guys, there’s something new for you too! Also check out Gossamer for more fabulous women’s clothing, they will stay open later too.

Watch out for the Green Truck in it’s electric compact vehicle with really delish vegan burgers- and solar rain water – go healthy when you’re hungry! If you’re in the mood for something sweet, head over to Zingara’s back patio for s’mores; this is a family friendly store with great accessories and clothes.

Zig-zagging across the street is new gallery, Kana Mangaplus with Andy Warhol inspired art on the walls. Head way down toward Westminster for more action, including a trunk show at Altered Spaces, featuring jewelry by Claudia Endler until 9pm.

Cross Westminster to Joe’s Restaurant, for live music  on the patio with The Jaimie Findlay Trio with Putter Smith and guest Tim Gill. Book a patio table anytime between 6-7PM and receive a complimentary glass of house wine on us with a purchase of a bar item or entree!

Tell all the places you check out that you saw it on the Abbot Kinney First Fridays Blog!
