Venice Holiday Sign Lighting was Friday, Nov 30 with: Robert Downey Jr. and Councilman Bill Rosendahl lighting the sign, the band Venice played songs to an enthusiastic crowd after the rain cleared!
Last Friday marked the start of the holiday season by the beach with the festive holiday lighting of the Venice sign at Windward Ave. and Pacific Ave. with a full musical lineup featuring the band Venice with the famous Lennon Brothers born and raised in Venice. Actor Robert Downey Jr. flipped the switch to the holiday sign with Councilman Bill Rosendahl to an enthusiastic crowd and a barrage of media clamoring for photos! Wow what a great event, especially since the rain cleared just in time.
