Happy Fourth of July! Everyone loves Fireworks & AKFF has the scoop on Fireworks Shows: Marina del Rey, Pacific Palisades & Brentwood!
Marina del Rey Fireworks Show
Make sure to get there early to nab a good spot, bring a blanket and layers since it gets cold, for realz, at the beach after sundown.
More tips: avoid driving on Lincoln anywhere near the Marina as it will be jammed and there are streets that will be blocked off to traffic. Bike, skate or walk it during the day, have a picnic or check out some eats at local restaurants before the big show!
Fireworks at 9pm
Admission: Free
Pacific Palisades Fireworks Show, Live Music & Food Trucks
Palisades Charter High School, aka Pali High, puts on a show, starting with food trucks and bands in the upper parking lot at 4pm.
Live Music & Food Trucks 4pm (upper lot)
Gates Open at 5pm
Fireworks at 9pm
Admission: $10

Brentwood Country Club Fireworks
You don’t have to be a member to enjoy the fireworks. Just bring some chairs and a blanket to the surrounding streets and check them out. There are a few areas where the trees might block the view. If you live in Santa Monica it’s a good option, since they already had fireworks last weekend and don’t do them on the fourth, which is ridiculous. Enjoy!
590 S. Burlingame Ave., Los Angeles, 90049
Fireworks at 9pm
Admission: Free (on surrounding streets)

This is a client testimonial for local Classical Pilates Studio, Turning Point Pilates, formerly in Venice and now at their new location in Marina del Rey!
“The Reformer classes are the best I’ve had in the LA and Venice areas. They give a lot of attention to clients, which I needed (recuperating from past injuries/surgeries). My posture and strength improved tremendously — and the classes are fun.”– Regina Tuzzolino
Robin Solo, Founder of the award winning, boutique Pilates studio Turning Point Pilates is also a Certified Instructor, along with three more Instructors at the studio, founded in 2006.
Check out what these clients said:
“Robin runs a top notch Pilates Studio in Venice, CA. I participate in the group classes and all the teachers are excellent – paying close attention to what works for you and when to push you. I’d recommend Turning Point Pilates to anyone looking to build core strength, recover from an injury or just looking for a good workout.” –Trent Jones
“The teachers at Turning Point Pilates are experts at their craft and fun to be around! I’ve been going to Robin’s Pilates studio for three years and really feel like I’ve developed friendships in addition to a strong core, abs, and derrier. The team is smart, experienced, fun, and keeps you on task.” – Ehrin Van Marter
Improved strength, flexibility and confidence is a class away.
