NEW from @AbbotKinney1st: All Food Trucks in Los Angeles – serving Food to Go on First Fridays!
Abbot Kinney First Fridays is canceled as a result of Covid-19, however, there’s something new and inclusive in support of food truck businesses and hungry Angelenos looking for some good grub!
While our food options are still limited, namely food to go at eating establishments in Los Angeles, as your Indy Blogger here who put the 1st Friday of the month on Abbot Kinney Blvd on the map, it’s time to take a new trajectory, that shares the food resources and the love!
Here’s what I came up with: I posted on socal media asking food trucks best way to order food from themand am listing those that responded. While it’s a small list to start with I hope to grow it each month and that depends entirely on YOU!

Surprise the food enthusiasts on your list with thoughtful stocking stuffers!
Of course, it’s easy for Santa to know what you’re friends and family want most for Christmas. But if your loved ones are also foodies, we just so happen to be experts on filling their Christmas with joy!
Some of the best gifts come in small packages. That’s why we at Abbot Kinney First Fridays are crazy about stocking stuffers! These little treats are a great way to demonstrate thoughtfulness this Christmas.
First on the list: Spices! Checkout a nearby spice shop for specialty spices and seasonings that will bring life and an extra kick to any meal. For those who love to cook, this will be an appreciated gift.
Second on the list: A gift card to their favorite restaurant! This may initially seem less than sentimental. However, if you happen to know what they would enjoy most, this may be a perfect gift! This could even initiate a “date night” for a special someone recipient.
Third on the list: A subscription to a meal kit delivery service! These are great options for those who are looking to branch out with their cooking; and by no means are they reserved for lazy cooks. They are great resources for new flavors and cooking techniques and full of great recipe ideas!
Finally: Consider giving your Abbot Kinney blog fan a subscription to our Patreon Premium Subscriber Page. Here our Patrons will find insider deals and the Abbot Kinney food truck list by location.
Give them something they’ll love and truly appreciate this year. Big or small, a thoughtful gift will make your loved one’s seasons bright!

Why Your Date Just Might Prefer a Food Truck to a Five Star Restaurant
Planning a great date for that special someone in your life? Whether they’re your long-time spouse or your last match on bumble, a food truck date might just be your best bet.
No, it’s not glamorous or flashy. But the food truck scene has everything you need to impress a hot date.
First, they’ll see that you’re good with your money. Food trucks are the best place for amazing food at a reasonable cost. Why drop $100 on a small portioned salad that got “great reviews” when you can have mac n’ cheese any way you want or a poke style sushi burrito or even a waffle-fried chicken combo for about $10???? It’s common sense really, and we think they’ll appreciate it.
Second, the scene could not be more hip. Located in the heart of trendy Venice, Abbot Kinney is the place to be for fashion and night life–even if your night life has the opportunity to drive off to its next destination. Also, with a fun outdoor atmosphere with plenty of people watching and window shopping, the experience will surely be memorable.
Third, it’s a creative idea! Sure, anyone can take anybody to a fancy restaurant. But at a food truck festival, they’ll undoubtedly notice your thoughtful, out-of-the-box idea.
So next time you’ve landed a date, don’t overlook the best date night spot!! Come visit Abbot Kinney for your next date!
