2016 Rings in with First Fridays in Venice on January 1, 2016, from 6-10pm on Abbot Kinney Blvd! The Abbot Kinney First Fridays Blog (aka AKFF BLOG) has the scoop on Food Trucks!
Since it’s a holiday and the first day of the year, many of the shops are closed, however, don’t worry because the food trucks will be on Abbot Kinney! The Brig will have a great selection of food trucks for you – see the list below and there will be food trucks on Abbot Kinney Blvd.
(between Venice Blvd. and Westminster)
1515 Abbot Kinney Blvd. at Palms
Food trucks are located in the parking lot.
Baby’s Badass Burgers
Border Grill Truck
Cousins Maine Lobster
The Grilled Cheese Truck
The Brig is a long time Venice and Abbot Kinney fixture and hundreds (or is it thousands?) of people flock here every 1st Fridays of the month for a taste of the best food trucks in Los Angeles and to get a cold brew or cocktail in the bar. It’s easy to find since there are huge crowds there. It is at the end of Abbot Kinney Blvd. that’s closest to Venice Blvd.
Food trucks can be found between Venice Blvd. and Westminster – both are at traffic lights. Since it’s a holiday, there will be fewer than ususal, however, don’t let that stop you from getting in a food truck frenzy on the 1st of the year on 1st Friday – after all, ya gotta eat! These are the trucks that are confirmed so far. More will be added as they confirm, so c’mon back!
